and this,
and this,

and this,

with this,

and finally, this:

Yes, the end of our trip to Oregon was nice, although my dad did have to be in the hospital to have some surgery on his foot. Randy joined us though, for a conference in Portland, and we had some fun there.
Annelise began taking steps on her own, while we were in Oregon. She is up to about 8 or 9 steps, but would prefer to hold our hands. Danny was running by this age, so this is kind of mind-boggling! Aren't those shoes just the most adorable thing ever?
Danny cried every time I left him at school for the first 1 1/2 weeks after we returned home. Talk about heart-wrenching. I guess he was away from school long enough to have trouble getting back into the routine.
Annelise started sleeping through the night again immediately after our return from Oregon. Unfortunately, though, she and Danny have been going through bouts of stomach problems, all of which crop up at night. Vomit and poop have been washed out of their sheets and pajamas so many times in the last three weeks, I'm surprised they aren't threadbare!
We bought a town home. Yes, that is our new place. We are very excited about our first home purchase and are pleased with the size and location. It has three bedroom and three and 1/2 baths (yuck for the cleaning). There is plenty of room for visitors!
So, I really should be busy with this:

Hopefully I can keep up through the next two weeks!

Congrats on the home purchase. It's quite a step. Speaking of which, the kids must love having three stories (wowstairswowstairswow), if I interpret the photo correctly...
