Season of Crafts

I love to make things. I rarely take the time, but I still really enjoy creative stuff. There are two craft festivals in our area within a one-week span. These are not your grandma's crafts, either (no tissue box covers or doll clothing). I often go to shows to gain inspiration, or just drool at the work other people do. I usually buy something to show support to someone's business. Last Saturday a friend and I went to Baltimore's Pile of Craft. There were many truly talented people there. If you get a chance look at the vendor list from their website, a lot of them have an online business or etsy shop. This next weekend is the Crafty Bastard Fair in Silver Spring. A little closer, which is nice, but it is outside and the whole family would be going (possibly hot and whiny?). If we go on Saturday we are going early!
