This change of seasons is the absolute best in Maryland. You have all heard me rant about how disgusting the humidity of the summer is, but the world looks better when you can smell a little bit of fall in the air. Last year we had heat through much of October, but we have had more storms this fall and a bit more cooler weather (although it is supposed to reach 80 today and tomorrow!). The best thing is definitely the color on the trees.
I have been taking the kids to the parks a lot more in these last couple of weeks. It has been great seeing them run around and enjoy playing with other kids. These pictures are from what we call "the library park" (it is across the street from the library). Danny pretty much refused to even look at me if I was holding the camera up, so you get "busy" shots of him. The tunnel in the bottom picture could provide hours of "echo" entertainment for the kids. These tunnels (walking underpasses) are all over our town.
